www.barchester.com/Healthcare-News/Alzheimer's-disease-summer-gig-gets-go-ahead/376/2801 Alzheimer's disease summer gig A summer gig has been lined up for a band who were looking for a charitable location to host them in their quest to raise money for Alzheimer's disease. Working with the Alzheimer's Society, Trouble with Tuesday will be hosting a free concert in Campbell Park, Milton Keynes, between 12:30 and 18:00 BST on Monday August 31st, the last bank holiday of the summer. Although the gig is free, attendees are encouraged to bring along some money for fundraising purposes. Back in February, lead singer Adam Compton explained his motivation behind the gig, stating that Alzheimer's disease is not just any old condition, instead being a "completely new way of life" for anyone connected to it. He added: "In my grandfather's case you can see in his eyes that he is searching his heart and soul to find out who you are when you walk in the room but my grandmother is the real hero."
